As of October 1st, 2018, FEMA instituted changes to The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). This change allows policyholders who purchase private flood insurance policies to cancel their duplicate NFIP policy.
Properties with prior flood loss, CBRA - Zones, Grandfathered risks, risks located in NFIP Emergency Program communities, risks in communities under suspension or probation by the NFIP. Medical equipment, fine arts, perishable goods, including food & drink, contents out in the open, Business Income or Loss of rents only coverage.
