What a crazy wrap-up to the year! Those few days before Christmas brought incredible cold and snow conditions here in the Northeast as well as in many other areas of the country. I wouldn’t have wanted to be a plumber or HVAC contractor over Christmas weekend for all the salt in the ocean. The weather forecast was so ‘scary’ on Dec 23^rd, we opted to have folks work from home. It also meant we needed to reschedule our annual Christmas Eve luncheon and traditional 12 Days of Christmas sing-along. Seriously it is a nearly 50-year tradition – we can’t miss it!

I can tell you the details, right? Well, we organize by the year of hire which currently stretches from 1979 to 2022. So, the newest hires get the earliest days of Christmas verses with subsequent years moving up the through the days of Christmas. One thing that did lighten my mood as we organized the sing-along, was the realization that 22 people on Team Tuscano have joined us in the last two years. They are an awesome cohort, and I am thankful for every one of them!

Over the past year, we have focused on putting more definition into what makes a great team and how we work towards accomplishing our goals. Believe it or not, the number one goal of The Tuscano Agency is not to be the biggest or the richest insurance mega-mogul agency. Rather, our goal is to be your number-one broker. I believe the way to your heart is that we bring more to the table in terms of relationships, service, expertise, and ease of doing business than any other wholesaler in our market space. If we can bring joy to the everyday minutiae of work by providing a solution for your tricky insurance need or by helping a co-worker when they are slammed that is priceless.

The bottom line is in a world where there are so many things we must do, like pay premiums, complete applications, and jump through hoops for demanding customers, we should appreciate more the things that people do for us. Personally, I want to thank every one of you for the trust and support you place in the Tuscano Agency. Every time you send us an account to work on you are voting in our favor and that is not lost on us because that is where winning begins.
