Commercial Lines Small Business Underwriter

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite/Rate/Submit/Quote new business & renewals
  • Set up worksheets and bind requests
  • Submit bind requests with subjectivities addressed
  • Obtain, review and take action on all required inspections.
  • On mid-term change requests: review, evaluate additional underwriting concerns and process endorsements
  • Handle cancelations/non-renewals according to state regulations and company guidelines
  • Process all company, policy and general correspondence
  • Other related duties as assigned

Required:

  • Hold a current Pennsylvania Property & Casualty Producer License
