Commercial Lines Assistant Manager

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support commercial lines team managers
  • Provide support for team members, including communicating team goals, offering guidance, and identifying training needs
  • Assist with difficult accounts, complaints or problems
  • Manage our service standards
  • Run reports and conduct file audits
  • Support team managers in organizing employee reviews, providing feedback and/or disciplinary actions
  • Answer team member questions and provide support to the managers
  • Assist in creating training and development plans for employees
  • Coordinate company/customer visits to the agency
  • Other related duties as assigned

  • Understand and explain forms and coverages
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in an effective manner
  • Willingness to take ownership for service to our customers
  • Excellent customer service skills that align with our customer service expectations
  • Organize workload and tasks
  • Exhibit proficient computer skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
  • Insurance certifications (CPCU, CIC, CRM, AU) and/or work experience preferred
  • Leadership and/or management experience strongly preferred
Required Licenses:
  • Hold a current Property & Casualty Producer License and Surplus Lines License in home state or must attain in six months
