Personal Lines Underwriting Support

Position Description

This is a summary and is intended to help you understand the general concepts and responsibilities required for this position. Tasks and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed as our business changes.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Accept the responsibilities and deliver outstanding customer service in the execution of:

  • Process change request endorsement for the personal lines team. This includes requests received via email or by phone.
  • Provide back-up support for assistant underwriters when they are out of the office (attaching emails, routing items to the appropriate person, etc.)
  • Process cancellation requests
  • Help with various projects, as required
  • Assist retail agents with help obtaining passwords/usernames to our company portals
  • Issue policies for the personal lines carriers
  • Process binders for renewals
  • Process mail
  • Other related dutues as assigned
