Commercial Lines Transportation Clerical Support

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Accept the responsibilities and deliver outstanding customer service in the execution of:
- Assist with set up of worksheets in preparation for policy issuance, as directed by the Assistant Underwriter.
- Provide back-up support for underwriting assistants when they are out of the office (attaching emails, routing items to the appropriate person, etc)
- Policy/invoice status requests
- Request renewal instructions from company
- Request renewal submission from broker (following instructions from company) and follow up at specified intervals (after these follows ups are exhausted, could go to the assistant to make a call)
- Simple endorsement requests such as mailing address changes, spelling corrections, etc.
- Check on whether payment has been made on policies we’re watching due to DNOC for nonpayment
- Send outstanding subjectivities to the company when received
- Process binders on renewals
- Start or help start renewal process, request loss runs/complete loss summaries, run MVR’s, run CAB reports, generate IFTA reports.
- Other related duties as assigned.

- Insurance related experience, business related experience and/or 2-year associate degree preferred.
- Availability to work overtime, as required to maintain customer service standards.
