The Tuscano boys are on the road again. Three generations of Tuscano’s are riding their motorcycles south by southeast in search of fresh oysters and the freedom of the open road!

Sometime this past summer, my oldest brother Al (who handles loss control and inspections for the agency) planted the idea in my father’s head that he needed a new motorcycle. And, he had just the one picked out for him - the new BMW C650GT which they advertise as an ‘Urban Mobility Vehicle’. I call it a super-scooter; it is automatic, has a comfortable ride, goes up to 90mph, and is easy for my 87 year-old father to handle.

So to celebrate our manhood and to break in the new bike as well as the next generation of Tuscano’s, we are taking a road-trip, and any road will get us there. On this journey are Al and Bill, myself, Robin Tuscano, manager of our Transportation unit, and Ryan Stabile, director of Highland Premium Finance. In honor of my 2 nephews I thought I’d plug their units in this newsletter; at least they can say this trip was for a good cause.

Hopefully you know by now that the Tuscano Agency loves to write trucks and the garages that repair them! We like to insure the stuff they haul, the drivers that drive them, and the general liability for their premises. When it comes to writing auto liability for our trucker friends, we pride ourselves on the expert service and underwriting skill that is value-added for your policyholder. Give one of our truck underwriters (or Annie if you want to talk garage) a call, they’ll be happy to help you.

When you do write that truck policy with Tuscano (or nearly any other type of policy), we would love to help you out with financing the premium. In Pennsylvania and New Jersey we finance our policies with our in-house company, Highland Premium Finance. For all of the other states we write business in, we use iPFS and issue the account in-house. Our underwriters are happy to provide you with a finance contract. Once we secure the financing, Shannon ‘U’ and Ryan are happy to be at your service!
